I was fishing all year never got a Salmon so I order this my first day with this rod I got a salmon it was so easy to land the salmon with this rod so I let him go so I can get catch more salmon with this rod kit this kit makes all the difference the only thing is it dont have alignment marks but it ok great kit

Great combo. Purchased the 5 weight for trout fishing, but have also landed 6 or 7 salmon (grilse) so far with no issues.
