We were a little sceptical at first but the Skeena River Kid Goat has become favorite wing material for Atlantic Salmon patterns. Fly tyers here in Newfoundland and Labrador are a pretty finicky bunch when it comes to tying Atlantic Salmon flies. It took some time, and a little convincing but this incredible quality goat hair has become a top pick for tyers across Canada.

These choice pieces of goat are a great alternative to calf tail for both wet flys and bombers.  These premium patches are brilliant white and it sits nice and straight.  Once you tie with this, you’ll never go back to calf tail.
