Tie One On Fly Tying Social

Weekly Tie One On events begin on Wednesday February 14th. We are excited to host this fun event at Landwash Brewery again this year. Johnny & Mae’s will also be open each night to fill you up with hump day food truck delights.

If you’re new to the event, here’s what Tie One On is all about. The goal of our Fly Tying Social is to bring together the outdoor community during the off season.  Each week we share fly tying, fishing knowledge, sportsmanship, laughter, good beer and great food. This is an opportunity to learn a new craft, meet a new friend and chat about the great outdoors. Socialize – the old fashioned way. If you have fly tying gear, bring it and enjoy a social tying atmosphere. We provide Free Lessons at our instruction table for beginners each week. The event is free, and we provide vises, tying materials and beginner instruction for you to enjoy the world of fly tying. Children until 8:30pm (Accompanied by a responsible adult of course) are encouraged and welcome.

As usual we’ll be giving away prizes, swag, Maruto hook samples and more during weekly get togethers.  We’ll also round up some guest tyers to show you how to tie your next favorite patterns.

We hope to see you all at our kick off on February 14th.  From all of the emails and messages, we know that you’re eager to get back together. Keep up to date by joining our Tie One On Facebook Group  or Sign-up for event notifications.

Our Host

We’re grateful to Landwash Brewery for providing the loft again for the 2024 Tie One On tying session.  Landwash keeps us well hydrated with their huge selection of beer in the taproom.  We’ll be tying in the upstairs loft where the lighting is perfect for tying. Johnny & Mae’s food truck is now on site so you won’t go hungry on fly tying nights!  Swing by early and grab some tasty treats before you hit the vise. If you haven’t enjoyed the food and drink at this venue already, check the map below for directions.
